A Kobo got me back into reading regularly after I’d been struggling to fit books into my day-to-day life.

Pros: fewer storage issues, lighter, you will never have to choose which books to take on a trip again, long-term cheaper than buying physical books, you can regulate font and font size for an easier reading experience. Cons: doesn’t work so great with illustrated books and books are beautiful objects that are nice to own and look at

I love my kindle paperwhite. It looks exactly like a real book and you don’t get the screen glare for reading outside. The backlight for reading in bed in the dark is also amazing. I stopped reading real books when my hands got too sore to hold them. I can prop up my kindle easily. Connecting my library card and downloading books for free has also been one way Ive up my reading game!
I miss going to bookstores to look and the smell of books but damn I love being able to change the font size and whatnot. Seriously all great things.

Pros –
More space in the house
Can travel with your entire library
Easier to buy books and is cheaper
Easier to handle
Can adjust font, size, lighting, etc.
Can whispersync with audio
Cons –
It’s just not the same experience as 1) holding a book 2) having them in the house 3) browsing a bookshop
No matter how hard you try or how good the tech is, your eyes just struggle (a minority issue probably, but this is my biggest personal issue)
