“There is this delightful book written by a Chinese woman to came to the US or the UK (unsure which ) as a student and had to learn the language. So her writting of the book is going alongside with the learning of the English language. Unfortunately, I do not recall the name of the book. It is a very slim book with simple well told narrative. An online search with the right key words would get you to it”
