Books with a theme/focus on ‘family’

I’m doing a project for english and have decided on the theme to be family; I’ve picked John Steinbeck’s Easy of Eden to be the first book, but I’m struggling to find books that kind of fit the same idea or have similar themes. Worst comes to worst, anything with a similar theme to East of Eden will be appreciated lolol

It can be anything, but it’s preferably modern (post 2000).
