My daughter is starting jr high and is a decent reader. She’s mainly done the Wonder series and a few others. I wanted to get her a few impactful or important books for her, but I don’t think I should lend her my Dostoyevsky, Psychology or philosophy books just yet lol. I was thinking about getting her Animal Farm, and one or two of the classic he high books. Does anyone have any suggestions heading that route? Development of character, empathy, or anything along those lines, etc….
