I don't usually read much fiction, literature, novels, essays, poems, or plays. My reading list is predominantly filled with science books. Recently, however, I read Carmilla, and it left a profound impact on me. As I reached the last page, it felt like a part of me was torn away. I wished the story could go on forever. The mix of joy and sadness I felt after finishing it was incredibly moving.
This experience has sparked a desire in me to explore more books like Carmilla. I'm looking for great works of literature that can evoke similar emotions. I didn't want to just search for "best literature books" and buy whatever comes up, so I'm reaching out here. I have no specific preferences; I'm open to anything that can deliver a powerful, moving experience.
