Looking for thought provoking books to read as a couple (but not relationship centered or self help). What’s a book you’ve read that you can’t stop coming back to because it was influential or thought provoking? It can be fiction, non-fiction, mystery, thriller, sci-fi, etc.

My husband and I would like to start a mini-book club while he and I are doing semi-long distance. Essentially we'd find a book at local libraries and read them along side each other and discuss. A way of bonding/enjoyment. I'm not really looking for something like a self-help/self reflection book. Something that's just fun to read and talk about. It can really be anything! Looking for the best book you've EVER read. TYIA!!
