Book Club reading list spanning different literary genres

Hi everyone,

I am putting together a culturally diverse adult list of 9 different books that come from different literary genres. I believe I already have Italian Renaissance, Victorian, and Post-Modern covered.

I need some suggestions for classic or interesting reads from different countries. I know when doing reading regarding different literary genres you will mostly come up with information from American and English literary genres. Looking to bust through that.

Any tips, comments, or ideas?
