I enjoy romance a lot! But I'm reading a graphic novel right now where I really feel that the female and male leads would be much better off as friends and it's making me crave a purely platonic duo. I haven't found many books where the male and female leads (or the central character + an important side character) are purely platonic AND have an interesting, uplifting relationship.
I also wouldn't mind if the two are amicable exes, as long as they don't end up trying to get back together!
