I'm looking for a second comp for my query, so something written in the last 5 years is ideal.
My book involves a Faustian style deal gone wrong, and some abusive romantic themes. The other comp is ST Gibson's a Dowry of Blood, however I want a second comp that is not romance, since the romance is a sub plot and it is properly a fantasy.
As a bonus: anything with blood magic, dark academia aesthetics, or pursuit of immortality works too.
