Looking for book title

Hey, I read this book a couple months ago and can’t remember what it was called. Here are some facts
Read on KU
It was a Mafia Romance about a girl and the mafia leader, I can’t really remember much but the girl got really sick and had to be seen by the doctor (doc) the reason I’m asking is because the authors mentioned in the back of the book that she would write stories about the other characters including the doctor (which I would like to read)

Does anyone know what book I’m talking about?
