I was reading Full Brutal and this book has all the typical teen movie/YA tropes (teen pregnancy, teacher-student affairs, bitchy cheerleaders, leaked nudes etc) but turns into madness as the main girl becomes a >!torture killing cannibal!<
Are there any other books that take common tropes of a genre but turn into something completely insane?

If you like fantasy, take a look at Kill the Farmboy by Kevin Hearne
Will Save The Galaxy For Food by Yahtzee Croshaw. It’s “a satirical sci fi adventure”. Quite fun, not deep or complex whatsoever but really doesn’t take itself seriously
