after finishing red white and royal blue, i’ve searched for similar reads and have fallen in love with boyfriend material & 10 things that never happened by alexis hall (which needs to be recommended more!! i surprisingly liked it even more so than boyfriend material) as well as an unlikely heir by jax calder (this one had some cheesy writing, but overall sweet and funny).
i want to dive into casey mcquiston and alexis hall’s other novels, but none of them seem to fit the bill as a sweet quirky romcom. i’ve heard husband material is quite toxic and was not able to get into one last stop. i also tried what if it’s us and found it to lack chemistry 🙁
if anyone has any recs with similar sweet/crazy family/side characters and funny banter, please share!! esp if you have a f/f one in mind that’s as funny as the titles i’ve mentioned! as a queer cisgender woman, i’ve been disappointed to not find any sapphic titles similar to this style
