I will give a synopsis of some of my favourite audio shows which can translate well into a novel format. I urge you to recommend novels that are similar in plotline and vibes.

    1. The Left right game (QCODE)

    Genre : Cosmic Horror

Synopsis : Journalist, Alice Sharma finds herself embroiled in investigating a strange conspiracy theory : “Get in your car and take a drive. Take a left, then the next possible road on the right, then the next possible left. Repeat the process ad infinitum, until you wind up somewhere…new.”

Paired with a group of other past time paranormal investigators with cars and supplies, this road trip game leads them to a new world : where you have a hitchicker you aren't supposed to talk to, a town from nowhere which screams dread, new dimensions with strange creatures and much more.

    1. How to win friends and disappear people (QCODE)

    Genre : Dark Comedy

Synospsis : A meek computer engineer becomes obsessed with her alluring neighbour, why does she only see her in elevators and corridors at odd night hours? There is no record or digital trace of this woman. The reason soon becomes clear to the nebbish Nancy as she witnesess a murder committed by her neigbhour who has just ripped apart Nancy's nemesis cowoker, Steve with her deadly teeth or are they….fangs!

Nancy and her centuries old neighbour become an unlikely group of duo, where they embark on a journey of murder and mayhem.

    1. Restart (BBC RADIO 4 EXTRA)

    Genre : Sci-fi/Mystery

Synopis : A retro game conspiracy and end of the world threat.
Each year, game fanatics dig up the land in new mexico to find reminiscents of alleged, "The Atari video game burial" event in 80s. Our protagonist hits the jackpot and finds the orginal production of the game that never saw the videogame market.

Is this game similar to E.T? No, it looks like it but it is a world on its own, metaphorically and literally. Our protagonist soon finds out that this game is connected to ancient world myths and military programs….and it is also the reason why his best friend from another part of the world is now in a video game rehab camp – which is too shady for a mere addiction rehab for youth.

    1. Calls (Apple TV)

    Genre : Cosmic Horror

Synopsis : Sound recordings, from an airplane's black box, tapes from a tape recorder, messages left on an answering machine, or calls to Police Rescue, allow us to bear witness to tragic events that occurred at different times, but all connected in one way or another to an impending Apocalypse.

    1. Midnight Burger (Business Goose Media)

    Genre : Scifi/Slice of Life

Synopsis : When Gloria took a waitressing job at Midnight Burger outside of Phoenix, she didn’t realize she was now an employee of a time-traveling, dimension-spanning diner. Every day Midnight Burger appears somewhere new in the cosmos along with its staff: a galactic drifter, a rogue theoretical physicist, a sentient old-timey radio, and some guy named Caspar. No one knows who built Midnight Burger or how it works, but when it appears there's always someone around who could really use a cup of coffee.

Anything great that you have read which had similar premise or that particular aura or vibe that these bring to you…. please share!
