I am ready and looking for a great western. Maybe not that good cause it may be imposible… but any good suggestion?
Would you read now streets of laredo?
Thanks!!
I like his Berrybender books. He doesn’t pull many punches in the rest of the Laredo series and I got wore out.

I read lonesome dove, then Dead man’s walk. Loved the characters in lonesome dove!

I was disappointed with streets of Laredo, I really felt Gus’s absence. Comanche Moon was better imo

I read *Wraiths of the Broken Land* by S Craig Zahler recently and thought it was great. It’s incredibly violent and brutal, though. Zahler wrote and directed the Kurt Russell western film, Bone Tomahawk, and if you’ve seen that, you can expect something similar from *Wraiths*.
