It’s always been a dream of mine to pull up roots, take my little civic(or sell it) , guitar,a backpack and just travel, smell bad and hang with local punks, musicians, and locals and go on adventures.
Is there any books you can recommend like this? Only ones I’ve seen come close are The Road AND Dharma Bums by John Kerouac.

Bound for Glory by Woody Guthrie is a memoir of his days riding the rails and it’s AWESOME.
There are quite a few. Google “books about traveling vagabonds”. I share the same dream, to be honest.
