Simply, What are Some Books I Should Read?

I wasn't sure what to title this but the information will be in the post of course. I have recently decided to try reading again but am not sure where to start. I try to look on places like Tiktok but everything seems to be young adult, romance, or intense "spicy" romance. I don't mind fantasy but many books I see seem to be very similar with no real point.

The books I have enjoyed reading are No Longer Human, Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Animal Farm. For suggestions, don't worry about saying any "basic" books since there's a chance I haven't read them. I haven't even read Catcher in the Rye or The Great Gatsby. I'm not entirely sure what type of book I'm looking for, just one with actual sustenance that isn't just the same romance/fantasy book. I don't mind romance books though as long as they have some other aspect. Sorry if that sounds too harsh or hypocritical I have just tried to read books I have seen on Tiktok and have not enjoyed them.
