Novels like Stalinrad by Antony Beevor that instead depict in depth some of the more harrowing battles and events of the pacific theater, or like The Rise and Fall of The Third Reich by William L Shirer that decribe the whole rise and fall of the Japanese Empire are what im hoping to find.
I also found and bought Guadalcanal: The Definitive Account of the Landmark Battle by Richard B Frank today for $7 (total bargain!) And was wondering if anyones read it and would be willing to share their thoughts!:)
