Books for a depressed engineer trying to figure out a career

I'm a software engineer struggling to find a job in this economy, so I'm thinking about switching careers. I can't figure out what career to switch to outside of software engineering, so trying to find books to help with this process.

I've read Designing Your Life but didn't feel like I walked away from it with any clarity. I've also read So Good They Can't Ignore You, but evidently they can ignore me and I don't feel good at anything else, so any other suggestions are welcome.
