Books that explore mythology and the fantastical?

I have already read Percy Jackson, Kane Chronicles, Heroes of Olympus, Magnus Chase, and trials of Apollo. Also Harry Potter.

I'm interested in books that explore mythology, lost or unknown civilizations, magical animals (think magizoologist) , stuff like that.

I prefer young adult but adult is ok too as long as it is clean (it can imply spice but no descriptors of the act.
