Not romantic relationship specific but a useful book for communication in general is Nonviolent Communication: A language of Life by Marshall B. Rosenberg, PhD. I find communicating in a non-violent, productive way is very important for collaboration and problem solving which are very important concepts in any long lasting relationship.
