I think this is pretty straightforward of a title.
I’m looking for a book or a few, that could essentially give me a large overview of art history and artistic knowledge.
I want to develop the knowledge, terminology, etc to go to an art museum and actually be able to say stuff like “this is reminiscent of the so and so period and defiantly has inspiration from so and so style”
I just want to be a bit more cultured and aware in these capacities and be able to appreciate art some more.
