Trying to read YA fantasy but…

I don't know where to start.

I was an avid reader when I was a child, but I haven't been reading much these years. Every time I try to step out of my comfort zone and explore other genres, I get overwhelmed.

Are there any suggestions for a reader starting out on YA fantasy? Thanks in advance!
