I am looking for a book that folllows an MC who lives in a world like ours (where having a super power isn't normal or heard of) and awakens a superpower, preferably something to do with psychic abilities like mind reading or control.
I want something similar to jessica jones s1 where the villian got mind control abilities and abused it, or true blood where the mc awakened mind reading
this was always a fantasy of mine, that I would randomly awaken a superpower, I would have to keep it a secret, and I would abuse it to improve my life, I am looking for a book that explores this.
