Barbara Bourland wrote a novel called The Force of Such Beauty, and [this article](https://msmagazine.com/2022/07/22/monarchy-queen-elizabeth-princess-stories-diana-state-control-women-equality/) is a great companion, “How Princess Stories Glorify State Control of Women’s Bodies,” and she mentions all the princess books she read as research!
