In a depressed funk, need something to get my mind off it
Genre really doesn’t matter. I love anything from fantasy to mystery to comedy. In between two romance books for my book clubs so not a romance. Quick read would be ideal
Discount Armageddon by Seanan McGuire was a great book/series that picked me up during a rough time. It’s so fun and the characters are great. I’d also recommend Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson

There’s definitely not a lot of chapters in this one. Try it out. It’s a fairly new novel at the moment.
