I’m interested in learning more about the definition of genocide and modern day occurrences, or instances that occurred within the last one hundred years. Ideally book would provide background and context, along with consequences. Also, ideally book would discuss multiple occurrences, not necessarily focusing on one group. Most instances I’ve read about online, other than the Holocaust, were not taught when I was in school. I feel this was a failing in my U.S. education which I would like to fix. Thank you.
