Yesterday I was looking for a book I read a few years ago and went through my old reviews on different platforms and oh boy did I notice something.
First of all I write way more good reviews than bad ones but I got sooo many comments on my 1 star reviews.
One book has like 30 reviews (Mine was the first one) and most of them are commenting on MY REVIEW.
I critized that it was advertised as romantasy but there wasn't really a love story in there, not even in a b plot. Way too much world building and info dumps.
And people were commenting stuff like: "I don't know what OP's problem is, I love this story!!!" And
"OP has no idea what she's talking about obviously this book was written with much love!"
"Haters gonna hate, don't listen to them!"
Honestly I love a good rant review to let out my feelings once in while but maybe I was too harsh?
