Weird and perhaps a specific request but I think Castlevania Nocturne awoke something in me lol! Are there any books where a human is around vampires and is utterly terrified of them and has to let the vampire feed on them whenever they want? Eg they’re captured by a vampire, or a vampire rules their town, or maybe a vampire just shows up one day and rampages their village and takes them prisoner – that sort of vibe. The more darker, scarier, gorier it is, the better. But no romance please, and preferably a female lead. Thanks!
