Historical fiction about a strong women or girl, in a traditional female role

I'm tired of stories where the women have do manly things, like hunt or go to war, to be strong. I want them in a traditional female role, like a homemaker, acting like a women or girl. I prefer historical accuracy. Romance is fine, but I prefer little to no sex scenes.
