I was fascinated by the first chapter of the Hyperion series where the priest comes into contact with the Bikura, a remote tribe of strange folk. Can anyone suggest me a similar (fiction or nonfiction) book where someone gets embedded with a similar tribe? I’d be curious to check out just about any variation of that plot. Thanks in advance!
