I used to read a lot. Went through pretty much my entire middle school library in 3 years. I want to get back in but I really only focus on a few long series and don't know where to begin. I like fantasy books and preferably bigger series. It started with warrior cats and has continued. I liked the guardians of gahoole too. Science fiction is another genre I like to read but don't really have any on hand to remember reading. I'm 27 if that helps.

The World of the Five Gods by Lois Macmaster Bujold is my favorite fantasy series. There are three novels and several novellas. I suggest you start with Penric’s Demon.
The Martian by Andy Wier is a really good place to start. Science Fiction but not too nerdy.
Bobiverse series by Dennis E. Taylor, the first book is called We Are Legion (We Are Bob).
