The Book of the New Sun will not because Wolfe relies on the fact that the images you create, when reading, are only in your mind. To put the on the screen would completely destroy the effect.

– Pale Fire by Vladimir Nabokov doesn’t seem feasible in any other format since the format is almost like… the whole point.
– Gravity’s Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon would be damn near impossible for multiple reasons, not the least of which being it would be like 10 hours.
