Anime hits a certain spot for me, that most other forms of media do not.
Looking for books that hit those same sorts of notes. Themes like: strength, perseverance, heroism, constant growth, etc.
Bonus points for books that have a great audiobook version.

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
Cradle is very Shonen Anime feeling.
Never Die by Rob J Hayes.
It reads like it could be adapted into a solid season of an anime show. We follow a bunch of resurrected heroes given a quest by a god of death. Lots of action and it hits your themes of strength, perseverance, and heroism. There’s also some growth by characters late in the book.
