Please suggest me a sci-fi or fantasy book (can be adult or YA) where the antagonist wants the protagonist to join them. I'd prefer one where the antagonist is serious about this, not a situation where they out of the blue try to persuade the hero. Extra kudos for if the protagonist comes close to joining them/is seriously tempted to.
