I’ve got a 9 year old Dog Man fan. He’s a reluctant reader and I’m basically like “Dav Pilkey, here’s all my money.”

* The graphic novel versions of the I survived series
* Amulet
* How to Be a Supervillian
* Ultimate Survival Guide for Kids
Moving into more chapter books he likes Inspector Flytrap, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and some of the Goosebumps books (though those are more read aloud).
