Fiction About Organised Crime?

I read a lot of non-fiction about British organised crime of various sorts across various time periods.
I wondered if anyone had any fiction recommendations along those lines.

Ideally set in the real world rather than a fantasy or sci fi, but I could be tempted into one of those genres if it sounds interesting.
