Hello all, how can I be good at reading and understanding what the author is trying to say?
I am not much into reading books but because I am preparing for an exam that has a section on reading comprehension, I cannot solve them because I don't get what the passage is all about and in the end I end up marking the wrong option as the answer.
Please help me I have to crack this exam.

Take each sentence and rewrite it in your own words. Then at the end of the paragraph, summarize what your sentences say and see if it seems consistent with what the author wrote. Especially if the writing is intended to be academic.
