Looking for a book like Heckity Peg in that it’s unique and evokes a particular feeling for the kid reading it. I’m thinking the art is a big component bc the only other one I could think of that felt as special was A Snowy Day which also had unique art.
Anyone have any good recs the effect of which will stay with the person forever and lead to a lot of nostalgia when they see it or think of it as an adult?
