I'd love to get back into reading, as I have mostly been reading educative stuff and scientific artcles, for pretty much the entirety of the last 7 years and trying (and failing) to catch up on "relevant" books such as Sapiens and similar.

I have a toddler. I just want to read more physical stuff and less internet fluff.

I read The Narrow road in 2 days with him. The images helped a lot. The plot is simple calm yet engaging. The book is an easy read, easy to take milions of breaks from and always catch back without it feeling disruptive in my reading etc. I know Pat is borderline OCD with his bookwriting and it always shows in the best possible sense (except the waiting ofc) but if you have any recommendations of something printed that would give me similar vibes, enrich my vocab a bit effortlessly, is not too explicit and focused on the explicities (think GoT) but rather engaging story that's unique within familiarity.

I enjoy romance, fantasy, a bit of sci-fi, kind of generic stuff, I just would like an easy read. I read the classic teen books (Hunger Games, Maze runner, Divergent, Eragon, Shadowhunters, Twilight, Percy Jackson).
