I recently watched a video about Zoroastrianism and its similarities to the three monotheistic religions. I find it interesting how the ideas of Zoroastrianism very likely influenced what later became central tenets and ideas in the subsequent three monotheistic religions. Does anyone know of any books that are based on these themes? I am looking for books on how the three religions were influenced (/stole ideas from) earlier monotheistic or polytheistic religions and made them their own. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It’s been a long time since I’ve read it, but *A History of God* by Karen Armstrong might be of interest. It explores to roots and rise of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
