I have read a book that felt like it was pulled straight from my own experiences, and it got me wondering: have any of you had a similar experience? What book have you read that was so uncannily related to your life that you felt you could have written it yourself?

In Universes by Emet North, but I know I’m not talented or Imaginative enough to do it

Not exactly experiential overlap, but I remember reading Revival by Stephen King and the POV of the main character almost felt like reading my own thought processes. A lot of people thought the book was too slow, since plot wise there were large periods where nothing significant happens. But I could read about the main character just chilling out and working at a recording studio for hours lol.

    3. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time reads like it could be my autobiography at times.
