Im looking for novels geared around different cultures, whether it be nationalities or religions for example (Im white / British and have never really left the UK).
I like the idea of learning about peoples' ways of life that Im totally unfamiliar with.
As an example, I recently read 'The Reading List' by Sara Nisha Adams and found myself learning a little bit about Hindu communities through it… it was only a small part of the story, but I found it enlightening nonetheless.
A couple of topics I've considered are novels about Tibetan monks or Native Americans… but Im interested to read a really broad mix.
They also dont have to be set in the present day, maybe it could be set in a certain period of history.
Suggestions welcome 😁
