So I got back into reading recently after finishing the That Time I Got Reincarnated into a Slime light novel, and I just finished the Cradle series by Will Wight. Looking for a fantasy/magic based (or adjacent) series with satisfying development if possible. In the past I’ve liked Eragon, Superhuman by Michael Carroll, the Lorien Legacies series, and the Reckoners series but that was a while ago so i’d prefer something with better writing than a typical YA. Violence and darker stuff is fine, so anything with demons or devils or stuff like that would be cool too. thanks!

It is a little confusing at first but then it all comes together stick with it.
I recommend reading the prologue last. I think it is better that way.
