I recently finished this book and thought it was a poignant read. The plot was fascinating, playing on themes such as man vs nature, survival, faith, and grief. The characters were well flushed out even in such a short book!
Regardless of a readers view on faith, I think book has a lot to offer in terms of lessons for reflection. Fighting when all odds seem against you, kindness even when it’s hard to be kind, not letting your situations break you, and most of all, to pass along the grace you received.
In my opinion, this short book is well worth a read. I heard the audiobook and the narration by the author Mitch Albom was beautiful and engaging.
