Hi! In three weeks, I am expecting my first baby. The time after he’s here is full of unknowns, and I am not sure I will even have time or energy to read. Or maybe that’s all I’ll be doing!
What I am quite sure about is that I need to branch away from my usual genres, which are a lot of non-fiction (history, true-crime, psychology), whodunnits, fantasy and historical novels.
Can you recommend and funny or feel good books that will get me through baby blues? I really like Bill Bryson for example, but haven’t really read many other “comedy” authors. Bonus points if the books are nature-themed, I love nature and wilderness settings. The only genre I am not too keen on is romance. Thank you in advance from a very pregnant lady!
