Like the title says, this book has been wonderful so far. Witty, smart, insightful, poetic, well-paced, melodratic, and more. But chapter 11… wow, that is a snoozefest. I won't say anything specific about the plot to avoid spoilers, but it just describes thing after thing after thing, making the chapter monotonous and hard to get through. I still love the book, but I might skip that chapter on rereads.

I’ve had some books like that where a certain chapter was just a snoozer. I used to try to plow through those but tend to skip around them now. (That said, a good nap can be amazingly restorative…)
