It does not matter how the protagonist arrived in the historic setting. It can be reincarnation or time travel or whatever, as long they use their knowledge to do some "kingdom building/city building" etc.
I mostly read fanfictions similar to this (usually set in westeros), but I am qurious If there are similar stories which are not westeros fanfics.
