    I love hard sci-fi, some favourites are the Foundation series, Rama, 2001 a space odyssey, Apollo Murders, etc.

    I’ve also really enjoyed Enders Game, as well as a lot of Isaac asimovs and George Orwell short stories.

    1. Ursula Le Guin: the Lathe of Heaven, the Left Hand of Darkness, the Dispossessed

      Arthur C Clarke: the City and the Stars

      China Mieville: Embassytown

      Gavin Chait: Lament for the Fallen

      Greg Bear: Eon, Eternity

      Ann Leckie: Ancillary Justice, A Sword, A Mercy

      Kim Stanley Robinson: Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars

    2. * The Player of Games by Iain M. Banks. Part of The Culture series which can be read out of order. I usually recommend starting with this one because it’s more tonally similar to the rest of the books than the actual first book is. Since you liked Ender’s Game, you’ll probably like this book.

      * The Invincible by Stanislaw Lem. He wrote a lot of books, but I haven’t read most of them.

      * Trouble With Lichen by John Wyndham

      * To Be Taught If Fortunate by Becky Chambers. Other books by this author aren’t as hard sci fi, but I have loved all of them.

      * Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. Other books by this author aren’t hard sci fi, but I have loved most of them.

      * Autonomous by Annalee Newitz

      * Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds

      * I second the recommendation of Ann Leckie. My personal favourite by her is Provenance, a stand alone book set in the same universe as the three “Ancillary” novels.

      *The Moon is a Harsh Mistress* by Robert Heinlein

      *The Forever War* by Joe Haldeman

    4. If you haven’t yet read the Ender’s Game sequels I recommend Speaker for the Dead. Also, Red Rising by Pierce Brown.
