Just the title, I want to better understand the metrics around the various formats so I can choose the options that benefit the authors. Theres a certain amount of patronage ideology I have around the arts. I have no talent myself for it but i'm the type of person where books are what made me ME. I often buy books specifically to support the artists because the ideas they've put forward intrigue me and I want to encourage the endeavours. I buy across platfoms and mediums audiobooks, ebooks, paperbacks. Times have moved on and now I have no idea where my money is going. If i buy a paperback for $38 and the audible for $12 and the ebook for $6….how much of that goes to the author?
