Suggest me a book with a theme of Dark/creepy carnival/circus!

I’m looking for suggestions for books that have a dark carnival like theme to it.
I’ve always been oddly interested in the creepy circus kinda vibe- my all time favorite series is the Cirque du Freak series by Darren Shan- I literally could not put down those books in middle school. I loved A Series of Unfortunate Events books in elementary school and my
favorite was the one where they were at the carnival.

I’ve been listening to a lot of Insane Clown Posse and they have the whole Dark Carnival/Joker Cards lore and that just made me recall how much I loved reading books about a dark carnival setting with devious creatures and all that stuff, and made me want to read a book with a similar kind of vibe.

I’ve been honestly slacking on reading- I used to be a bookworm in elementary and middle school. I feel like a good book or series about a creepy carnival or similar setting would bring me back into the joys of reading, and not something that’s just about my favorite musicians or athletes.
